Why you aren't seeing results at the gym even though you've been training for months | Marek Klose

Personal trainer Marek Klose, known online as Trener Koksik, has spent 15 years working with people who lack not time, but the courage to start. In this episode of ROI Hunters Studio, Łukasz Gągała talks to one of the few trainers who tells you exactly what you need to hear, even if you don't want to hear it.

From the very beginning of the conversation, Marek makes one thing clear: lack of time is the weakest excuse you can give yourself. In most cases, this phrase is just a cover for laziness and a lack of priorities. If single mothers who run their own kindergartens and manage businesses can find three hours a week for physical activity, then anyone can. The conversation goes deeper, though, as Marek explains why discipline is more important than motivation, how sports build agency in other areas of life, and why the gym is a tool for everyone, not just those who want a six-pack.

Marek went from being a skinny teenager who was pinned down by a 40-kilogram barbell during his first workout, to competing in bodybuilding and powerlifting, to running his own successful personal training business. He talks about what it was like to quit his 9-to-5 job, what he was afraid of, and why he now believes that the worst-case scenario—having to go back to a regular job—isn't actually that scary. This is a conversation about sports, but really, it’s about building character, making decisions, and investing in yourself before your body sends you the bill.

In this episode, you’ll get an honest look at the myths that keep people from making a change.

  • Marek debunks the belief that women will start looking like men if they go to the gym,
  • explains why the scale is a terrible indicator of progress during weight loss,
  • shows what really lies behind the spectacular transformations seen on social media,
  • and speaks openly about performance-enhancing drugs, Ozempic, and supplements, clearly drawing the line between what can provide support and what no substance can replace: consistent hard work and a proper diet.
