How to register a business in CEIDG?

Registering a sole proprietorship in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) is an intuitive process that can be completed online.

Step 1: Create a Trusted Profile

The first step is to have a Trusted Profile. You can create one on the website pz.gov.pl.

Step 2: Register on biznes.gov.pl

After creating your Trusted Profile, go to biznes.gov.pl and navigate to the "Register a company" section.

Step 3: Start registration

On the next page, click "Start".

Step 4: Login

Select the option "Log in to the Entrepreneur's Account", then log in with your Trusted Profile.

Step 5: Email Address Confirmation

After logging in, you will be asked to confirm your email address by entering a confirmation code on the page.

Step 6: Proceed to the Application

After confirming your email address and successfully registering on the biznes.gov.pl portal, you can proceed to the application.

Step 7: Enter Personal Information

Next, you will enter your personal information. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.

Then, on subsequent pages:

  • Enter your home address.

  • Fill in your company's details and the business start date.

  • Enter the company's email address and phone number, and indicate that you do not consent to these details being published in the register.

  • Select the PKD codes (Polish Classification of Activities) corresponding to your business activity.

  •  Provide the delivery address and recipient (first name, last name).
  • Indicate whether you have a permanent place of business.

  • Indicate that you are subject to ZUS social security contributions. The date the obligation to pay contributions arises is the day you start your business.

  • Specify the Tax Office. The appropriate office is determined by your residential address.
  • Fill in additional details. At this stage, it's particularly important that you can choose the form of taxation for your business. You can also submit the application and fill in any missing data later. Our Accounting Office will handle the social security registration.

Step 8: Signing documents

Finally, sign the documents using a Trusted Profile, Qualified Electronic Signature, or via online banking.

Step 9: Submitting the application

After signing the documents, submit the application. Remember that merely signing the application does not mean it has been submitted.
